What’s in it?

It contains red clover extract, which is scientifically proven to enhance the hydrating effects of hyaluronic acid and diminish fine lines and wrinkles. It also contains extracts of antioxidant-rich viola tricolor and yarrow to rejuvenate the skin, and extracts of meadowfoam seed oil and marshmallow root to firm and hydrate.

My Verdict

This serum has a thin gel consistency with a light herbal floral scent. Upon applying onto the skin, it is very easy to spread. I personally found the serum a little sticky on my skin compared to other water base serums I’ve used. It feels as though the serum was sitting on top of my skin and wasn’t absorbed properly.

After using this for a few months, it has not caused any breakouts and is gentle enough to be used on dry, sensitive skin. However I did not see any improvement in my skin tone, hydration, fine lines or wrinkle, so it did not meet the expectation and claims the product should deliver.

This serum is definitely a miss for me. It does not have the same textural elegance as  the Jurlique Calendula Redness Rescue Restorative Treatment Serum and it has not deliver the results as advertised. It has taken me 1 year to finish the whole bottle because I simply don’t reach for it enough.

Packaging

White glass pump bottle, square in shape with rounded corners that easily dispenses the serum The bottle comes with a plastic pump and a safety cap. The cap is simple but rather ingenious that sits gently over the top of the pump but stops any accidental compression (and therefore any accidental spillage of precious serum).

Price

30ml for $85. One bottle will take 3-4 months to finish.

Beauty Tip

Use a light cream after this serum so it wouldn’t feel as heavy.
